It’s hard to find the right words for this past weekend. When you lose someone you love, words often fall short. My family and I decided that my grandma would have wanted me to race, but it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done emotionally. She always believed in me, supported us in every sport we pursued, came to my races and sparked my love for the mountains. I’ll carry that love & her with me, in my heart, every step of the way. ❤️🩹
It was a long & tough day out on the trails. The terrain was incredibly technical, the heat was relentless and it was hard for me to stay focused on racing. I’m so grateful for my crew, who were there for me without me ever having to ask and somehow always knew exactly the right words to say.
