ABOUT ME
I am Ida, 26 years old and a passionate trail runner. I feel most at home in the Alps, love the challenge, nature and sport. I originally come from track and road running, got into trail running by a lucky coincidence and now compete with the best trail runners in the world, both on a national and international level. I love to just tie on my running shoes and push myself to my physical limits. When I'm not on a trail in the mountains, I study architecture in Innsbruck.

LA CORSA DELLA BORA 🥇
42 K | +1.200 hm / - 800hm
Race Recap: 1st woman in 3:22:19h, course record.
The race went really well. Right out of training, it was supposed to be a fast and hard tempo endurance run and it worked out. It started at 10:00 am in Trieste with gentle rain and after the first kilometers, I felt great. With "only" 1,200 meters of altitude difference, it was a very flat and fast trail, making it challenging because of the speed. After 3:22:19 h I was the first woman, and sixth overall, happily at the finish and got to take home 5 kg of Italian cheese 😍

EL PASO AUSTRAL 🥇
Race Recap: 1st woman over 70 kilometers
This was probably my most adventurous race so far. The race through the South American jungle demanded a lot from me. The trails uphill were an absolute pleasure. I was actually looking forward to the 30 flat kilometers near the end - but there were 24 rivers to cross and swampy and muddy trails throughout - often up to my knees. But the race was a complete success, my strategy worked and I became 1st woman and third overall. The prize was impressive: in addition to prize money and medal, there was 3kg of chocolate and complete camping equipment (tent, duffels, sleeping bag)

Istria100 by UTMB 🥉
Race Recap: 3rd Woman, and 11th Overall in 11:27:32 h
I had a score to settle with Istria100, and now I could settle it. Before the start, I was emotional and excited, in a good way. I felt good, coming straight from a training block (which I like a lot), and was ready. After getting away from the group of 8 women shortly after the start, it was my race. I was focused, the nutrition was 100% right and I could cross the finish line in third place after exciting position changes after a fast 111 kilometers. I am overjoyed and look forward to everything coming up in the next few weeks.
